As we get our campaign into full swing there are many things that we will need to be successful. This year our goal is to contact every voter in the school district at least once, and hopefully three times, before election day. This will require the help of volunteers and campaign fundraising.
Right now we are in the process of our first fundraiser. We are reaching out to all of you, keeping you updated on the campaign, and letting you know how we are spending the money.
We have broken down our budget as follows
- Statement Fee - $2,300 - This is the statement that goes inside the voter information booklets.
- Absentee Voter Contact - $3,600 - Printing of the materials and postage.
- Walking Materials - $1,000 - Printing of materials and feeding volunteers.
- Voter Contact - $3,850 - Lawn signs, buttons and banners.
This is the bare bones that we need to have a successful campaign. In order to achieve our goals, we need donations from people who believe in me and my campaign, people like you. Remember, you do not have to live in the area to donate.
